Northwest Blues Stars

Mainstage Theatre, 216 Union Street, Seattle

On the heels of their successful debut show last October, the NORTHWEST BLUES STARS will return for one night only on FEBRUARY 22, 2024 for one show at THE TRIPLE DOOR THEATRE in Seattle.

NBS is produced by Steve Sarkowsky who was the founder and primary talent buyer for Seattle’s HIGHWAY 99 BLUES CLUB. The show features 6 well known and talented musicians who will put the musical focus of this show on the MEMPHIS SOUND.

“Memphis has long been a major focal point for the blues and soul music, with the history of Beale Street along with highly regarded record labels such as Stax and Hi” said Sarkowsky. There is a long list of prominent Memphis artists and the evening will feature the music of some of Memphis’ greats such as; Booker T; Albert King; Otis Redding; The Staple Singers; Al Green and O.V. Wright.

Scheduled to appear for this show will be: KEVIN SUTTON on guitar and vocals; Tommy Wall on bass and vocals; Jeff Conlin on keys; JIM KING on sax/harp and vocals; ROBIN MOXEY on guitar and vocals and Steve Sarkowsky on drums.

Special thanks for support of this show go to the Washington Blues Society (WBS) and radio station KNKX for all they do for Keeping the Blues Alive.
